November 2026

Thursday, November 12 at 1 PM EST (Virtual):
Remix Culture and the Stories We Share, with the Internet Archive

Why do certain characters and stories invite us to reinvent them? Where does remix become transformation? What can we learn about culture by looking at the ways artists reinterpret it? And what does it mean for all of us when the stories we inherit become material for new ones? This live recording of the Future Knowledge podcast brings together cartoonist Alec Robbins, creator of Mr. Boop, and librarian and author Liz Gotauco of F*cked Up Fairy Tales for a conversation about remixing the culture we share with copyright expert Meredith Rose of Public Knowledge.
